The staff smoking area is right outside our room, so we usually can’t open the window for fresh air. Most of the staff have been friendly, and it’s a quiet location, not too noisy even though we ended up right next to the fitness/Physiotherapie room. This is only our first day of a five-day stay, so we’ll have to see how the other four go. The room is small, with no refrigerator, alarm clock, suitcase holder, or tissues in the bathroom. The suitcase has to sit on the floor. The bathroom is small too, making it difficult to use the toilet or shower, and the shower hose leaks. The buffet breakfast and dinner are so-so, with several items usually empty or cold.

It’s a beautiful, quiet spot on the edge of the forest, and we could watch squirrels from the window. The rooms are functional and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is generous, and the staff are friendly. The hotel works perfectly for wheelchair users. Unfortunately, it’s also the only accessible hotel in town, so there isn’t another option. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn’t quite right. We’d still gladly come back.
