The rooms were spacious and clean, and we felt at ease from the moment we arrived. The welcome was genuinely warm, and having parking in the backyard was handy. My girlfriend and I picked Hotel garni Sternberg for a restful weekend in Bad Bevensen, and we're glad we did. We'd definitely stay there again.

Rooms 5 and 6 worked especially well for our family since they can function almost like one apartment, with a small kitchen between them. The rooms themselves were basic but clean and tidy, and our stay was pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, the owner was very friendly, and the price was reasonable, so we were happy with the accommodation.

I had no hot water in my room at all, either in the shower or the sink, which was completely unacceptable. The Wi-Fi barely reached the room, if it reached it at all. The balcony was nice and would suit smokers, and the beds were comfortable enough that I had no aches. The owner was very nice and friendly, though those were the only real positives.
