Ferienhaus Alpenglück

The box spring beds and roller shutters made this feel like a proper place to relax. Those shutters aren’t always standard in Bavarian holiday homes, and for us they help turn a tasteful, welcoming house into a real holiday oasis.

I had booked the wrong date by mistake, a month too early, but a quick phone conversation with the Gasser family sorted everything out. They were understanding, kind and empathetic, and we found a solution that worked for both sides. I’m looking forward to meeting them in person. Hosts like that deserve support, and I’d gladly recommend them.

We’ve already reserved another stay for next year. It’s easy to see why we keep returning: the house near the center of Oberstdorf has everything we could want, from kitchen utensils and bathroom amenities to a whirlpool and sauna. The owners are very friendly, service is quick and uncomplicated, and the location is fantastic. Daily errands and restaurants are walkable, and nature is right outside. We feel at home here.

Eight of us, including four children, spent a long weekend at the house on Alpgaustraße. It was clean and furnished to a high standard, and the management was pleasant to deal with, answering our questions quickly. Great value for money, and highly recommended.
