Hotel Sonnenhof

We came by train and e-bikes again, and they gave us a lockable space in the underground garage for the bikes. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I especially want to mention the breakfast service, which was far beyond what you might expect from a 3-star hotel. This was our second stay, and we again found the facilities and breakfast selection good. It’s a pleasant walk of no more than five minutes to the thermal baths.

The apartment was lovely, with a large, comfortable bed, but there were lots of smokers in the building. We could only open the windows at night. Breakfast had everything, though the quality was poor: the sausage tasted sour or had no taste, and the fruit seemed canned or frozen. The eggs were the one very good part. Such a shame.

The afternoon cake and coffee were a lovely extra, and the breakfast buffet was perfectly satisfactory. Our room was modern, newly renovated, clean, and very well kept. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating, and we felt completely at ease. We’d love to return. Thank you so much!

Just 100 meters from the thermal baths, and the staff were very friendly. The room was okay, but the bathroom had a really strong toilet smell. Reception said the room hadn’t been used for a while after I reported it, but nothing was done. Breakfast choices were very limited, and they couldn’t offer fried eggs even after we asked.
