The portions are so generous you definitely won’t leave hungry, and the prices are decent. Service was polite and warm, and the food was delicious. You’ve got to try the Kaiserschmarrn, it feels like a little piece of heaven. If you’ve already had a main dish, you might want to order one for two, because, like I said, the portions are huge. ❤️

I’m reviewing the restaurant since I can’t rate the hotel itself. The service was very good, the person looking after us was smiling and really attentive. Thank you! The food brings the rating down a bit. It was okay for the price, but the sauce seemed to be made from cubes like the ones I can get at Kaufland, and it overwhelmed the whole plate. I’d recommend the place if you’re very hungry.

The food was great and there was plenty of it, with very attentive service. We didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that. It was wheelchair friendly, which mattered a lot to us.

On Sunday, I went for dinner with family and friends. The food was nice as usual, and the service was friendly, though they wouldn’t take our dessert order because the kitchen had closed. If you go out to eat at 20.00, when are you supposed to order dessert? We came back the next day at 19.45. The terrace and biergarten were crowded, but nobody was inside. The gentleman who greeted us turned us away, saying they had no table for eight, five adults and three kids, even though the table we’d used the previous day was free. Then two days later, we returned at 20.30 with a local German customer. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the kitchen was open. Strange how things change in a day. It mostly seems to happen when you’re a foreigner.
