It’s an easy walk to downtown, and the price is reasonable. The rooms and services are standard in size and scope, but the place was super clean. I’d happily recommend it to travelers. You can also make that walk an early morning workout near the seaside. Have fun.
It’s a quiet spot, which is nice, but the hotel is far from the city centre. That’s the only downside.
The breakfast had a great range, including items you could request from the menu, mainly different kinds of eggs and pancakes. They also had healthy choices and options for people who are lactose intolerant. The four-star hotel is beautiful, with a gym and sauna on the top floor that are open almost all day. Bike rental is available in a vintage red color, though I found it too expensive.
The room was comfortable and had a big bed, but the tap water tasted odd. They provide bottled sparkling water. There’s no mini fridge in the room or vending machine for a late-night snack, and the location isn’t very convenient.
The quiet location on the SRH University campus was a plus. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there’s a tablet in each room for all the functions. Staff are friendly, and the breakfast is delicious with plenty to choose from. People even come here just for breakfast. Since I was a university student, I got a discount for my relatives or parents. I’d definitely stay here again on another visit to Heidelberg.
