On a business trip, I stayed at zum Steinhof and was really happy with the quality for the price. The rooms were clean and practical, and the location was very quiet. The owner was also really friendly. I ate at the restaurant one evening and can recommend it. I had the "Schweinbäckchen," which was really juicy and savory. I think the Röstis were homemade too. Breakfast didn’t stand out, but there was definitely more than enough. The eggs were especially good. I’d definitely recommend staying at Steinhof. Thanks!

By the time we got there around 8:30 pm, after a 3.5-hour drive, the kitchen had already closed. I was a little disappointed, but the kind receptionist understood and brought us delicious hot soup and beers. We felt relaxed and comfortable after that. I'll never forget his kindness.

We liked it enough to come back for a second night. The place is great value, with a comfortable bed, a good shower, and everything very clean. The staff are friendly, there's a restaurant on site, and forest walking trails are close by.

The food was nice, and the hotel itself was pleasant. My room was quite okay, though a little warm. Having to get a new WiFi code every four hours was annoying.
