Hampton By Hilton Stuttgart Airport

The staff were kind and clearly well trained, and I liked how they treated me. This is a great airport hotel, newly opened, so everything feels modern, clean, and new. The fitness studio is good, and breakfast is included every time. Its range and quality are definitely better than at U.S. Hampton. I enjoyed my stay.

I'm staying here now. The room is extremely clean, perhaps because the hotel is so new, and the decorators deserve credit for how immaculate it is. Aniza at reception on my first night was efficient, polite, friendly, and a perfect host. The second night was the opposite: one staff member, without a name badge and with their shirt untucked, looked flustered and messy and couldn't handle three waiting customers. They served a man who arrived after me, kept sighing, and I left without spending any money. That person really shouldn't be facing customers. I'll see how night three goes and update my review.

For an airport hotel, it's odd that there are no shuttles. The airport is a 50-minute walk or 24 euros by taxi. I didn't enjoy my stay, and it's strange that this is a Hilton. My room wasn't very clean, the soap tubes were empty, and it was noisy: the AC roared, I could hear water in the pipes, and there was a server computer above the ceiling in the room making a hissing sound. I had to sleep with earplugs. I told reception, and they thanked me for the feedback and said they knew about the issues and would check. After I complained again the second night, they moved me to another room. My colleague on the same business trip had the same problem and changed rooms on the first day.

The modern, welcoming atmosphere at Hampton by Hilton Stuttgart Airport made for a wonderful stay. Staff were attentive and friendly, breakfast was good, and the location right by the airport made travel very convenient. It was an impressive visit, and I highly recommend it.
