The place felt more like a hostel than a hotel, and over €50 a night didn’t seem to match that standard. Cleaning was very poor, breakfast choices were really limited, and they switched off the heating even with temperatures below zero outside. If you’re after a winter boot camp with a chastising attitude toward guests, this fits the picture.

For a budget stay, it works: the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and pets are welcome. The hotel is at the end of a street in an area with workshops, but it was quiet. It’s easy to get onto the highway and head in any direction. Lidl, Rewe, and DM are nearby, though you’ll need a car. The Wi-Fi could be better.

We wanted somewhere basic and cheap, and this did the job. The airport location is amazing, though there’s absolutely nothing right around it. The center, with good bars and restaurants, is 10 minutes away.

A good cheap place to stay. The amenities aren’t the best, but that’s understandable for the price.

Clean, with an impeccable interior, but the standard felt a bit expensive for the price.
