We stayed here for our wedding, which we celebrated in Brohl-Lützing, and loved the place. The house dates back to the 1800s, I think, and its charm has been preserved. We didn’t meet the owner, but her cousin welcomed us warmly and was a wonderful host. She made us a delicious breakfast every morning with lots of care, including fresh figs from the garden. The only small inconvenience was the layout: the toilet was tiny, and while it had a door, the sink and shower were open to the bedroom. We still had a great time.

It felt like visiting a long-lost aunt. Our host was very friendly, the bedcovers were wonderfully fluffy, and breakfast was simple, good and more than enough. The pillows were a little too soft for us, though that comes down to personal taste. I did mind that the toilet was separated from the room only by a curtain. All in all, a nice stay, and I’d gladly return.

The owner welcomed us warmly and was happy to share advice and tips. We also enjoyed the good breakfast and delicious coffee. The house is beautifully furnished, right beside the spa gardens, with a view of the Rhine. If we come to Bad Breisig again, this villa will be our first choice.

Everything here has a creative, artistic flair that’s very much our style. The rooms are beautiful and incredibly cozy, breakfast feels special and is high-quality, and the staff are personal and friendly. We spent two weekends in a row in Bad Breisig/Bad Hönningen for events. We only came the first time because we needed an alternative to canceling, but liked it so much that we canceled our other hotel ourselves and booked here again for the next weekend. This is sure to become our regular spot for short breaks close to home.
