This building feels like it’s masquerading as a hotel. The layout was confusing when I walked in, and I went right past the check-in desk. We asked about a one-night stay and were told there were several rooms. Then they realized we spoke English and said there was no availability!!!

The restaurant is very good, and the service was friendly, though there weren’t enough staff. It was also hard to find my way around at first.

You have to be vaccinated and tested. Make sure you arrive during the day, since the hotel is located in a hospital / Klinik, so... yeah, good to know in advance 🤣

At the spa, I noticed there were many older guests. Some men would hit on younger women as soon as their wives left the sauna. Staff aren't around everywhere, and women who are harassed in the sauna or pool area may not return. Clear pictograms could help address this. The room felt beautiful and welcoming, and the restaurant food was excellent. Reception and restaurant staff were friendly and very capable. The room, spa, cafeteria, and cleaning staff were the weak point. I understand qualified workers are hard to find right now, but some staff didn't understand German and spoke to guests in ways that weren't very polite or appropriate. They need more training in etiquette and German.
