Dona was wonderfully kind, and when we needed to get back to our car, she even drove us there so we could save the taxi fare. Requests for a late checkout, sewing supplies, and a steam iron were all handled with a friendly smile. Customer service at its best. My wife and I stayed at the Marktschänke in August 2024. Our room was snug and right in the heart of this small city. It was a little small, but perfectly fine for one night. Breakfast was okay, and although there wasn't the usual hotel buffet, the scrambled eggs were made fresh. Cafés, a bakery, and a drug store are about a two-minute walk away. A 24-hour gas station is around 14 minutes on foot. If we come back to Bad Dürkheim, we'll stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The tarte flambée was really good, and there was plenty to choose from on the menu. The staff were kind, service was quick, and prices were reasonable. Food quality was definitely good.

The schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln was delicious. There’s a huge food selection, including lots of vegetarian options.
