Hotel Mainstation

For the price, this simple hotel is worth it, and getting around from there is easy. It is a bit dated, though, and a long way from the center.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hours worked well for us, from 7 to 11. Checkout was at 12. The room was well insulated even with fast trains passing by the nearby train stations, and using white noise for the kids meant the trains didn't bother us. The one issue was the Airco in room 2.10 wasn't working. I reported it to the caissière. For this price, would I recommend the hotel? Definitely.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of good options: breads, cold cuts, spreads, yogurts, fresh fruit, machine coffee, juices and water. The staff were very friendly and ready to help, too. I arrived late, after reception had closed, but the communication was quick and the key collection instructions were clear, so getting in was easy. Finding the hotel with navigation was straightforward. The room was simple but clean and had what I needed for a comfortable stay. For the price, it offers a lot. I'd recommend it for a night or a few days.

Parking wasn't ideal. There were only about five spaces on the hotel grounds, and street parking looked a little sketchy. The room was very good, though, and breakfast had a lot of variety for the price. Some staff were very friendly; others didn't speak English, though they weren't unfriendly. The room photos were taken when we left, so ignore the rumpled sheets.
