Hotel Landhaus Lahmann

So good!

The breakfast and service were good, and the hotel itself initially seemed excellent. But our top-floor apartment was painfully cold, including the heating, and all our children have colds now. The shower water was freezing at first, and hot water took a long time to come through. The sink drain was blocked too. No one apologized or offered compensation. The problems were played down, which was disappointing. Maybe some renovation would sort things out, and perhaps these aren't major issues, but I don't understand renting the apartment in that condition, especially with the heating. The cold made our stay very uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed the quiet setting by the horse farm, with the Ida Tower along the way. The owners were very friendly, and breakfast was good. The rooms are clean and cozy, though not especially modern. The property is changing hands in June 2025. I hope the new owners keep that same warm, welcoming feel.

The terrace was such a lovely spot to sit outside late into the evening, and the spa park is just a quick walk downhill. You can park right outside the door, too. Our room was clean and comfortably furnished. The hosts were very friendly, and one staff member in particular went out of her way to help us feel at ease. A great place, highly recommended!
