Our prepaid booking through booking com was cancelled just 24 hours before we were due to arrive. My family and I were left without any solution. Avoid.

For the price, this was excellent. It’s in a peaceful spot that’s well placed for trips to Koblenz, Cologne, and other places.

The apartment itself was nicely furnished, and the bed was great. I slept really well. There were a few things that let it down, though: the blind was missing, so I couldn’t block out the light, and the kettle leaked and was full of limescale. There was a hand brush but no dustpan, so I couldn’t sweep up. The towels had stains even though they’d been washed, and the odd dishcloth looked so poor that I bought a new one. The outside of the house, especially the entrance and hallway, also didn’t make the best impression. Photos to follow. I thought about giving it more, but 3 stars feels fair.
