We’ve already stayed three times in six weeks, and this has become our place to come back to between outings. It’s clean and comfortable, with a view that’s a pleasure every day. Breakfast is great, and it’s always quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The Chiemgau Thermal Complex is very close, Rosenheim is about a 15-minute drive for visiting family, and there’s a lovely walk to the SimSee lakeside. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay, and the hosts were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of choices.

We left after the first night because we found a large construction site directly behind the accommodation when we arrived. The full refund was appreciated. The furnishings need renovation, the bathroom fixtures are outdated, and the balcony railing is in poor shape. Breakfast had little choice compared with other places we’ve stayed. The property seemed poorly managed.

The view is fantastic, whether you’re looking toward the thermal baths or Lake Simssee. We came by train and found the host very welcoming. Our room was nicely furnished and had a refrigerator. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly cooked eggs available if you ask. There are drinks, including beer and water, in the cellar at reasonable prices.
