Ströbinger Hof - Therme Wellness Resort

The best part for us was the service. Everyone at the hotel, from reception to the waitresses, was incredibly kind, and they even surprised my girlfriend for her birthday. We stayed a night to celebrate and booked the Chiemsee Suite package, which included breakfast, a light lunch, a four-course dinner, and entrance to the Thermen for both days. The suite was huge, the beds were comfortable, and everything was spotless. I only wish we’d booked a longer stay. I’ll recommend it to everyone. Five stars, though Google doesn’t let me give more!

We appreciated how clean and tidy the room was, and the breakfast had plenty of variety, including different eggs cooked to order with local eggs. The hotel connects to the nearby thermal pools, both indoors and outdoors, through an underground tunnel that's about a three-minute walk. The pools are 34-38 degrees. At check-in, front-desk manager Mr. Sebashon showed us the facilities and suggested some local sights. Getting there by car is a good idea, since walking from Bad Endorf train station takes around 10-15 minutes. We stayed two nights and would come back to Strobinger Hof. It's due to close for refurbishment on 6 Nov 2024, with normal operations tentatively returning in August 2025.

The setting among the Bavarian Alps is sublime, and the calm made it easy to get away from everything and recharge. I keep coming back, this was my fourth visit. Between the thermal pools, all the wellness activities, the menu at the Strobinger, and the service, it's hard to recommend the place more.
