We had a great time exploring the region, though walking did mean using roads now and then. There are also lovely paths that seem to have been untouched for years. The B&B is set in a restored late medieval castle, and the owners are doing the restoration themselves. We met one of their friends, a lovely man who shared some history about the place. Both owners have an art background, and you can really appreciate the beauty of the setting.

It was so relaxing to stay in the castle, surrounded by antique furniture, modern touches, and lovely artwork by the owner. The place looks like something from a fairy tale, set in beautiful countryside beside a farm with cows. Now we know there's a little kingdom near Berlin waiting whenever we want a getaway. Can't wait to come back!

We only spent one night there, but it was such a lovely break from hectic Berlin. The place is beautiful and charming, and we felt genuinely welcome, almost like we were at home, even though we don't have a castle of our own. It felt like stepping into an old story.

Andreas was a thoughtful, welcoming host, and I loved the unusual mix of old and contemporary in the setting. I spent a few nights there on my own to unwind, meditate, and enjoy the quiet. It’s just the place for tea and poetry writing. I’m already looking forward to returning when everything is green.

My blue room felt like a cozy little cave, and I was at home there straight away. Andreas welcomed me warmly, and there were so many lovely details to notice. I’m glad I got a glimpse of the world of such creative people while traveling. Anyone who enjoys castles, nature, art, and furniture that mixes antique and modern should have a wonderful time at Neuenhagen Castle and remember it for a long time.
