The inn has a lovely rustic feel, and the service was personal, warm, and witty. I’ve rarely eaten this well. Everything is freshly made, and you can taste it. Both breakfast and dinner were consistently excellent.

The spinach dumplings tasted great, though there was too much butter for my liking. The setting was lovely and the waiter was very friendly. Otherwise, I’ve no complaints.

We had impeccable food and service at this quiet, beautiful spot on a Sunday. The Bavarian-style house has seating out front and in the courtyard. It’s easy to access with a wheelchair too, with just a small threshold to cross from the courtyard into the building.

We enjoyed our stay so much the first time that we booked the guesthouse again in 2025 for one night on the way to Woodstock der Blasmusik. The festival in Ort im Innkreis is about a 20-minute drive away, which made this a convenient stop on our long journey. The owner replied quickly to our online booking, and although we arrived late, our keys were waiting in the doors of our assigned rooms. We parked in the courtyard again and went upstairs. The first visit had been for the same festival, and the inn was closed on our Wednesday arrival. The owner had emailed in advance to explain that she would leave our keys in the doors. We parked in the courtyard and carried our things up the stairs. The room was very well equipped, with comfortable beds and warm blankets. There was a little Milka chocolate on the bed as a welcome treat. The bathroom was excellent too, with towels and a hairdryer. Breakfast had everything we could want, including fruit, yogurt, cheese, and cold cuts. The staff were attentive and friendly, checked whether we needed anything else, brought it over, boiled eggs, and offered more coffee. I’d happily stay again. The room amenities were great 👍🏻 It’s a charming Bavarian inn in a quiet village right by the Inn River and the Austrian border. Bad Füssing is only a few minutes away by car.
