There’s plenty of space for tables and chairs, plus a small parking area, and the restrooms and other rooms were spotless. The house is a lovely spot surrounded by nature and has almost everything needed for small events or private parties. The kitchen is fully equipped, but you need to bring your own drinks, food, decorations, and other supplies. You’ll also need to bring bed linens for the sleeping areas, which are set up much like a youth hostel.

There’s a big space out front for outdoor activities, and a fire pit that adds a special holiday feel. A small playground for young children has just been built, and our kids loved it. The location and size work really well for family reunions or larger groups. We’d love to come back!

This renovated old building has lots of room for sleeping, with bunk beds and double beds. You’ll need to cater for yourself, and there are plenty of options for leisure activities or events.

The location is good, but unfortunately I’d advise against staying here. I know you should adjust your expectations at a youth hostel, but even the basics weren’t met. There were broken windows and very questionable hygiene. I’d rather not describe how the caretaker behaved when we left. The building is old and has a certain charm, but it seemed like the last thorough cleaning happened back when Russia was still called the Soviet Union and Matthias Reim was at the top of the charts. If you can find somewhere else to stay, do that. If you don’t mind feminine hygiene products in the side bin, have no dust allergy, and consider sticky PVC floors harmless, you might still have a pleasant few hours there.
