Haus an der Therme

I always enjoy staying at Haus an der Therme on Sonnenstrasse in Bad Füssing, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the fall. The spotless one- and two-room apartments are good value and well placed. Each has a kitchenette and bathroom, with furnishings chosen to suit the owners’ tastes, and the Pfafflinger family rents them out on the owners’ behalf. For everyday needs, the location is hard to beat. Across the street are a fruit and vegetable shop, bakery, pharmacy, bank, and the lovely Bad Füssing cinema gallery, which has an excellent film program. The spa gardens, leisure park, spa doctors, restaurants, ice cream shop, hairdressers, cosmetics services, and other shops are all easy to reach on foot. Therme 1 is about 50 meters away, Therme 2 "Europa" roughly 250 meters, and Johannesbad spa around 1 km. There’s a bread delivery service and a drinks vending machine in the building. Guests can also use the modern washer and dryer in the laundry room for a fee. The Jägernitz physiotherapy practice offers massages and mud packs on site; call ahead to check appointment availability.

We were there to move, not to unwind, but the apartment was still a great place to stay. It’s quiet and central, with modern furnishings, everything well equipped, and a big balcony. We’ll come back when the move is finished ;) and see what else "Haus an der Therme" has to offer.

We spent 7 days at Haus an der Therme and were quite happy with it. It’s a little dated, though clean and practically furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the large balcony still had lots of room with the clothes rack set up. The thermal baths and shops were all within walking distance, and the price was fair. The Murphy beds were the one real nuisance. I already wear two back braces, so they weren’t a good fit for me.

We felt very at home in this nice little apartment. It was spotless and had everything we needed, and the bathroom looked brand new. The women at reception were really nice.
