Getting into the thermal baths is convenient: you can pick up a transponder at reception, have your tickets activated, and go in without waiting. Bad Griesbach, especially the area around the baths, is beautifully laid out, and it's quiet around New Year's. We stayed at the Blumenhof for a week. Apartment 38 had what we needed for a short stay, with attractive furnishings, fine beds, plenty of storage, shelves and hooks, and a balcony. The floor can be wiped clean, with rugs on top. But there was no vacuum cleaner, which made it hard to clean up after our dogs. The kitchenette had a two-burner cooktop, a large enough fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and more. A few things need attention: the windows should be sealed, the unpleasant bathroom smell looked into, and the heating checked, since it was either blasting or freezing. The layout isn't wheelchair accessible, with stairs to various entrances. The underground garage is a five-minute walk from the building. Breakfast costs €14 and left a lot to be desired. I was already tired of it by day two and canceled it.

We keep coming back for a few relaxing days, and always feel at ease here. The restaurants close by are good, and the bathrobe corridor is really convenient. The apartments are clean and well cared for, the staff are cheerful and very friendly, and breakfast in the small, cozy room has everything we could want.

From the moment we arrived at the Blumenhof, we felt at home. The staff were remarkably friendly, attentive, and accommodating. They took our requests into account when we booked and gave us a comfortable, well equipped apartment in a central spot, with short distances for our disabled companion. It had been renovated and had new furniture. We booked breakfast, and everything there suited us completely. We'd love to return.

The bathrobe corridor made it easy to get to the thermal baths and the Romanov physiotherapy practice in my robe. I stayed in an apartment in House 5 for three weeks and was very comfortable there. It was very clean, with an east-facing balcony furnished with two chairs, a table, a lounger, and a place to hang laundry. The little kitchenette had everything I needed. The reception team were helpful and very friendly, and I was pleased with the daily breakfast I booked. Towels are changed weekly, and the bed linen gets changed after three weeks. I'd book this accommodation again, but next time I'd choose an apartment without carpet.
