The hotel was a great place to eat breakfast, sleep, and spend time. The rooms were really clean, though a bit old. That was fine with me.

Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of variety, and the owner and staff were exceptionally pleasant. Villa Irene is tucked away a little, but close to the spa gardens and thermal baths. The rooms in this family-run place seem to have been recently renovated, and everything was clean, tidy, and functional. I’d gladly return.

We had a great stay and would book with the friendly, accommodating owners again. The guesthouse is very central, so it’s easy to get to many places on foot. Our beds were comfortable and the room was very clean, though the bathroom needs renovating. The sink was quite low, more like one for children 😉

The room was on the small side, but clean and tidy, and breakfast was included with a very generous spread. The bread rolls were delicious. It’s a lovely, quiet location not far from the city center, so it was great for sleeping. The price for what you get is excellent, and I’d definitely stay here again.
