We had a wonderful few vacation days, and spent most of our time in the apartment. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, bright, and fantastically equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom even has underfloor heating, and there's plenty of storage and seating for extra suitcases. The floorboards creak a little, which adds to the house's rustic charm. Villa Himmelsblau is an idyllic retreat in the picturesque Black Forest, within easy walking distance of Bad Herrenalb town center, its bakeries, restaurants, and leisure activities. The S-Bahn and bus are also just a 10-minute walk away. Check-in and check-out were flexible and smooth, and Ms. Abel, the owner, was always available and did all she could to make our stay pleasant. We'd love to return!

The panoramic view from the second floor is unique, and the location works perfectly for hiking. Bad Herrenalb has a good range of restaurants. The rooms are tastefully furnished and have everything you need.
