B&B HOTEL Bad Hersfeld

With no taxis available, the owner drove us to a nearby town so we could catch a working train. We'd been stranded in Bad Hersfeld after our train was cancelled because of a storm, while travelling to Berlin. Booking a room online was simple, and check-in was handled well despite the rush of other passengers arriving from the train. The hotel is large and well laid out, and the room quality was far better than we'd expected for the price. Breakfast was adequate for what we paid. I highly recommend the hotel, and would consider this chain in other cities if the quality is just as good.

Remember the 6 digit passcode, since you need it to get into both the hotel and your room, especially after a few beers ;-) The hotel is newly built, with clean, modern rooms that have what you need. It's an easy walk to town, and there's ample parking for an additional 10 euro per 24h. Electric chargers are there, but weren't connected yet when I stayed, so check on that.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, keeping in mind this is a B&B. There's spacious parking for 10€/night. Recommended.

The hotel had what we needed, and the staff were very helpful. They quickly arranged the things we asked for.
