Hotel Imperial Dusseldorf, Sure Collection by BW

For business travel, the convenient location and comfortable rooms make Hotel Imperial Düsseldorf a good choice. The rooms are cozy and have what you need for a pleasant, efficient stay. The building is old, but it has a quaint, classic feel and is clearly well maintained. It’s a charming, well-kept hotel for business travelers who value character, cleanliness, and easy access to the city.

The breakfast and staff were nice, especially the lady at breakfast who was always willing to help despite the language barrier. The rooms felt outdated, and cleanliness could’ve been better. There was a spider web in a corner, and the desk and bedside tables were extremely dusty.

The location is excellent, breakfast is good, and the staff have been really nice and helpful. The Wi-Fi speed test in the Berlin room showed 101dn/34up, which is good. I’m staying here for a week now; based on some reviews, I expected less, but the room is quite nice and a normal size by European standards, though you won’t get a suite. Everything’s clean and comfortable. I’d stay here again.

The one neat thing is that it’s near the train. Otherwise, this was the worst experience: the room is tiny, barely enough for one person and a backpack, and it felt like a dorm. For $180, I shouldn’t be hearing neighbors talking and showering, but the walls are so thin that I couldn’t sleep. There’s no air conditioning, and I could hear people walking down the street too.
