We weren’t staying overnight, but the woman was so kind and accommodating. They let us use the toilet and drinks fridge, and offered us parking without charging, though of course they did give us something. It’s rare to meet someone so helpful these days. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely stay here.

We had a really nice apartment and could use the drinks service. After all that rain left us soaking wet, he even let us dry our cycling gear in his boiler room. The host was totally relaxed and very friendly, and the area around the place is beautiful. It was fantastic staying with you, and we’d recommend you to anyone. Thanks again 🤗 Best wishes 😊

A special touch was finding the fridge stocked when we arrived with regional bread, butter, milk, sausage, cheese, yogurt, and more. For our two-night stay, that was all we needed for breakfast. Coffee and tea were free in the kitchenette too. We had a small apartment that was clean, attractive, tidy, and thoughtfully furnished, and the hosts were friendly. The sauna deserves a mention as well, it feels more like a wellness area, with an infrared cabin and comfortable loungers. Absolutely fantastic guesthouse. We’ll be back! :-)

That little moment with the ski pants says a lot about the hospitality here: I forgot mine, and my host simply lent me a pair. I’ve been returning to Hinterstein and Pension Hochvogel since 2017, often with my daughters. The rooms are always spotless and beautifully furnished, and breakfast is regional. It’s easily the best guesthouse I know, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

After work, we could get straight out into nature, which made our October workation a great break from city stress. Remote work went really well, and the Hölzl family made us feel so welcome. There was even a small gym. We’d happily do it again.
