We found the place a great value, with a very reasonable price and a great location. The room and bathroom gave our family of four plenty of space, and the staff were courteous. Having a kitchenette was a welcome surprise, as was having our own parking space instead of relying on street parking. The downsides were the expensive breakfast, which had very limited choice for the price, and towels that felt rough and scratchy. There's a bus stop right beside the property, so there was constant foot traffic and noise, even late at night and early in the morning.

The place looked tired and poorly decorated. After what happened, I wouldn't stay here even for free. I drove from the UK to Bad Homburg, a journey of 11 hours, and work had reserved this hotel for me. I should've read the reviews first, since the other accounts made it sound like a horror movie. I got there at 1930hrs. Reception was supposed to be open from 3-9 (1500-2100hrs), but it was shut and nobody was there. I called the number twice with no answer, waited 20 minutes, then left to find somewhere else. The hotel never called back or contacted me. Two days later, the owner or someone else from the hotel rang and demanded money. They were rude and condescending. I refused, because I hadn't accepted or signed anything or received anything from them. Nobody had been there, and nobody got back to me for 48hrs. The low * reviews here should be enough to send anyone elsewhere. Find another hotel!!!!

The room was small but adequate, with warm showers, mostly comfortable beds, and a quiet atmosphere. Don't expect luxury. Breakfast was available, but I skipped it, so I can't comment on that. I didn't find the stay as bad as the reviews suggested, though things could have been better. My original Frankfurt booking was randomly cancelled, so I booked this one through Hotwire. At check-in they told me city-taxes weren't included in my prepaid room and I had to pay another ~€20. I was surprised Hotwire hadn't included that. Was it a scam? Maybe, but I wasn't going to second guess the only hotel with ~30 km of Frankfurt that had an open room. It's a very small operation with minimal staff. Call the front desk when checking in to make sure someone will be there. Don't expect anyone in the office after 9pm (21hr) unless you've made arrangements with the receptionist. Note to US / Canadian travelers: German customer service is inferior to the rest of the world.

We had a room for three, with one nice king size bed in the bedroom and two beds in the kitchen. I asked for the room to be cleaned after nothing was done for two days. On the third day, a woman asked if I'd smoked by the window. I said yes, and she told me that meant I had to pay 1000€. I asked them to call the police so they could sort out what I owed. Another man came and put me on the phone with the hotel owner. He said we had to pay 100€ for each day we'd smoked in the room. I again said to call the police and let them decide the amount. He said paying them 100€ directly would settle it, otherwise they'd charge the company that booked us 2000€. The owner, the woman, and the unpleasant man were speaking Russian, like I do. Before booking here, read all the reviews.

I had room number 2, right opposite reception, and it was very loud. The fridge kept making noises and starting up so often, it sounded like rain in there. The floor was clean, but above eye level everything was dirty. Definitely a one-time choice, never again. I wouldn't advise this place to my enemy.
