Getting around is easier if you have a car, since there isn't much transport nearby. Prices are good, though, and the hotel itself is really calm and pleasant. The rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is the usual German spread: coffee, cheese, omelette, bread, and cold cuts.

The rooms are okay, though on the small side. Some sockets didn't work, and housekeeping was poor: they only vacuumed and left everything else unchanged for a whole week.

We had a great time, and the food was really good. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, including with guests who speak English.

There are lots of gluten-free choices, made with gluten-free ingredients and cooked in separate pans and pots. We ate at the hotel's restaurant for the first time today and loved it. The food was outstanding, and everyone serving us was so friendly and attentive. You can tell the restaurant and hotel are run with a lot of care. Thanks to the team for a lovely evening! We'll be back and will tell our friends about the restaurant. ♥️
