Schöne Apartments in Bad Honnef

We'd happily stay here again. The location is great, and getting in touch through the app or by phone worked fine. The apartment itself could use better furnishings, though: the kitchen is very basic, so cooking for a group would be difficult. We also would have preferred a dishwasher over a washing machine.

I've stayed in home2share apartments before and keep choosing them because I want to return. They're clean and comfortable, check-in online is easy, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Thanks!

I was incredibly shocked by the garbage-strewn entrance. I forgot to take photos, unfortunately. The price is exorbitant for such poor service, and I wouldn't book this place under any circumstances. You can't even give it zero stars. The entrance is the main problem. Homeless people sleep there and smoke drugs, and they also use the area as a toilet. In the morning, leaving without getting feces on your shoes is a challenge. There's no outside light, so it's very dark. I reported it, but it still hadn't been fixed four days later, which encourages people to stay there. The overflowing mailboxes are full of ads, newspapers, and other junk. It's also extremely noisy inside. You can hear people in the apartments above and across the street, so the insulation is poor. And there's almost no way to contact the "landlord organization," as the issue with the light shows.

I can only speak to the "home2share" at this particular location, not the company overall. The customer service was generally reachable, communicative, and accommodating, but most of the problems I reported were still there even though someone was supposedly sent over. For the price, the value is completely unacceptable. I wouldn't book home2share again, in any city or country. A real shame. The apartment looked promising at first, but a closer look turned up quite a few issues. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the hot and cold water didn't work properly, especially in the kitchen. The remote's batteries were dead. The floor or carpet didn't seem to have been cleaned or vacuumed. The coffee machine was much too small for the only cups provided, which were large. I had to hold a cup at an angle while it brewed so it wouldn't tip over. Why? Even the hallway gave a hint of what was coming: it smelled of ammonia, probably cat litter or something similar. The air freshener on the mezzanine made it seem like this was considered normal.
