The view of the vineyard and vegetable garden was impressive, and the price for one night was absolutely fantastic. Our group of five had enough sleeping space, with room for more. The rooms were clean, the beds were made for everyone, and the TV and heating worked, so we had no complaints. The climb up to the house could be difficult for someone with mobility issues, though it was fine for us. When paying the tourist tax, remember to mention and hand over the guest card. We didn't receive one, but the tourist information office in the arcade building was incredibly friendly and still gave us the discounted entry fee the card is for. If you're after very friendly, affordable accommodation, this is a great choice. Breakfast is available in town.

The location was good, and Bad Kissingen is a pleasant little town, but we wouldn't come back. We were two families in the two ground-floor apartments. Each was a decent size, though we couldn't understand why the one with four beds had the smaller kitchen. The furnishings were adequate but quite dated. Cleanliness was below our standards, with lots of spiders and dirty spots that needed attention. The bathroom radiator was completely dusty, and there was hair from previous tenants in the sink and toilet.

It was clean and the people were friendly, but we'd choose somewhere else next time. In the mornings, people talked loudly on the terrace outside our bedroom after we'd already been woken by stomping upstairs. That happened both nights. There were several minor issues that added up, and after years of regularly staying in different vacation rentals, we feel others offer better value for money. It wasn't a bad place, just not for us, especially at that price.

We had a beautiful view and a very friendly welcome. The apartment was very close to the other one, though. Cleanliness was disappointing: the carpet was very dirty, and the bathroom was dirty with a strong musty smell.
