I was here on a business trip with some colleagues. The rooms were spacious and great, with lots of features, and two rooms had good-sized LCDs. Breakfast was tasty and varied, with amazing, friendly service. They seemed a little short staffed, but still managed to provide great service.

The room and staff were lovely, and breakfast was good, but I was disappointed that the food I wanted wasn’t available. It wasn’t especially busy or out of season, either.

The hotel was very quiet, and I had a wonderful view of the cathedral. It’s a city hotel right beside the Trinkhalle (pump room) and the park, with a clean, modern room that’s been beautifully renovated. I liked that there was no wardrobe, kettle or refrigerator, because it made the room feel more like a little apartment than a standard hotel room. The breakfast buffet looked a bit small, but it was enough for me. There was coffee from a machine as well as filter coffee. I didn’t go to the bar, though I could see how busy it gets in the evenings and how lovely it looks. I arrived between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, and the receptionist was already expecting me, so I didn’t need a safe or a key. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who likes small, modern places.
