Breakfast was generous, with delicious coffee and eggs, and the welcome was really warm. I was shown around the mansion too, which was lovely. The huge king-size bed, big bathroom with both a bath and shower, and all the necessary amenities were great. There’s a kids’ room with bunk beds and toys in the pension. I’ll definitely come back with friends or family in summer, or for a longer weekend.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. There’s a nearby lake for walks, too. My room was beautiful, new, spacious, and clean, with a fantastic bed and great pillows. The air conditioning came in handy on hot summer days. I’ll be back.

I loved all the little details, there was something lovely to notice in every corner. The rooms each have their own character, with thoughtful design and loads of space, so it felt like home straight away. Breakfast was fantastic too, and the playful touches put a smile on my face first thing. Such a cozy guesthouse. I had a wonderful stay and will remember it for a long time.

We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. The guesthouse is a handy base for visiting Bautzen and the area around it, and you can walk to a reservoir with a beach bar. The rooms are beautiful, furnished with lots of care, and breakfast was delicious.

The staff deserve special thanks. They handled every request with warmth and quiet courtesy, and the old-fashioned spirit of hospitality feels wonderfully well preserved here. Meals were a real treat, with carefully prepared food and excellent wine. The rooms, with warm wood and delicate details, felt soothing and welcoming, more like being a guest in a grand home than staying at an inn. This venerable house has such grace and a strong sense of the past, while still offering refined comfort. Anyone looking for peace and reflection within beautiful old walls could find real happiness here.
