The owners were the best part of our stay. They were incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating, and even invited us to dinner, which they apparently do as a matter of course. Their local tips were better than anything we could find online, so it’s worth booking at the start of your holiday. The apartment was very spacious and fully equipped. The kitchen is on the small side, and the place is a little dated, but it was clean and the kitchen was adequate. We were very satisfied and couldn’t have asked for more.

We felt at home again on our second stay and will book this apartment again. What makes Brigitte and Willy special is how real their warmth feels, whether you’re chatting on a hike or sharing a meal cooked by Brigitte, which was delicious. There’s always someone around to advise on walks, and the apartment has plenty of information, including routes Willy put together himself. The apartment was furnished just right for us. The kitchen is small, but it had everything we needed. Their kindness impressed us on our first visit too, and we’ve only felt something similar over the years at our beloved guesthouse on Lake Constance. It’s lovely that people can still be this warm in their later years, when so many seem bitter and grumpy. Thanks to both of them, their warmth really touched us.

In the Grub district, it was peaceful with no traffic noise. The accommodation was spacious and very clean, and the landlords were super friendly. The kitchen is small but has everything you need.
