There are a few lovely trails nearby, perfect for a morning or evening walk. I stayed a few nights with my girlfriend while we were hiking, and the tucked-away location was beautiful. Inside felt homey, and we had all the amenities we needed. The host was polite and checked in whenever he saw us.

You can head straight out onto some great hiking trails, and the apartment itself is cozy. It's peaceful here but still central, and the landlords are really nice. We'll be back! 💕👋

I had a very comfortable place to stay for a relaxing short break with my dog. It was quiet on the edge of town, and I could easily walk into the center. Communication with the landlord was good, and I was welcomed very warmly. The apartment was what I expected, and the price felt fair for the quality. Thanks very much, and see you next time.

Austragsstüberl was our stay, a small, traditional Bavarian apartment. It's in a peaceful, idyllic spot close to Bad Kötzting, where you can get everything you need. The hosts were very accommodating, the welcome was friendly, and the apartment was clean. I'd happily recommend it for a holiday in the Bavarian Forest.

Right by the forest and about 30 meters from the Regen River, it's a great base for excursions. Our apartment was clean and nicely heated, with everything we needed. The beds were made up, and towels and a hairdryer were provided. They weren't too soft, which meant we slept really well. Dogs are welcome, though you should register them beforehand. The hosts were lovely, and we'd gladly stay here again.
