We were there for a group seminar and felt welcomed as guests, not treated like customers. The team was open to feedback, and the organic food was excellent. We also had a make-your-own pizza evening and a group drumming session, plus there’s a grand piano in the lobby. Some parts are still being renovated, though the newer areas are very well done. There’s plenty of potential for the hotel to improve even further.

The rooms were cold!

This former spa hotel feels run-down, with an alternative atmosphere that doesn’t hide its poor condition. There were old cigarette butts on the balcony, stains on the worn carpet, and dirty bathroom corners. Some renovations were left unfinished, and a few repairs looked makeshift. Even the hallway radiators were rusty, and the doorknobs felt sticky. For the price, it wasn’t worth it.

There was no TV or internet in the rooms, and breakfast was a disaster. There was hardly anything to eat, and nobody let us know when food had run out. The owners don’t say much, as you can see.

It was a real pleasure staying here. The organic food and wines were delicious, and it’s very welcoming for children. A nice change from the same old routine.
