We spent a week here recently and really enjoyed it. The area is full of things to do: we hiked up the Hörnle from right outside, cycled around Lake Staffelsee, and made time for Neuschwanstein Castle. The apartment has what you need for a holiday, including a dishwasher, washing machine, internet, and TV, and seems best suited to active people. In the evenings we cooked, then relaxed with a glass of wine or unwound in front of the TV.

We’d love to come back to Bad Kohlgrub. The apartment is fully equipped with a TV, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and washing machine, and many hiking trails start right nearby. It’s peaceful here, while places like Füssen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are still quick to reach. There are also restaurants and a swimming pool close by.

There’s a hiking trail nearby that we followed all the way to Murnau am Staffelsee, and it was beautiful. The area is lovely for walks, too. For cooking, Feinkost Frank is a real gem, with fresh local fish available to order. The cozy little apartment is also within easy walking distance of the train station, bakery, pharmacy, butcher, and Biehler Chocolate Shop, where the ice cream is very good. A great spot for a relaxing break.

I felt very comfortable here, and my dog did too! 🐕 The real estate agent was extremely friendly and helpful, and easy to reach. The holiday apartment was spotless and perfectly equipped, with all the supplies you need as well as a dishwasher and washing machine.
