The apartment itself looked as expected once we got inside, but arriving on Friday night, the entrance felt like walking into an abandoned building. We were five people staying Friday to Monday for three nights. I had read reviews on Airbnb and here; they were mixed, though I trusted Airbnb more since guests have to stay to review, and many of the reviews here seemed old. There were dusty clumps throughout the bedrooms despite the covers appearing clean. The toilet had been left unflushed and unclean, the shower head had mold, and some cutlery was dirty. The place also felt old, less renovated than it appeared, though it might suit someone looking for a typical eastern Berlin house. I messaged the owner about these issues and the Wi-Fi, which wasn't working at all, but got no response. That was unacceptable, and I left very dissatisfied.
