The central location makes it easy to walk to all the sights, and Mr. Thomas and his staff welcome us so warmly that we look forward to coming back each year. The three of us have been meeting in Bad Langensalza for several years, and we wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse. The rooms are clean, welcoming, and nicely furnished, and breakfast is perfect, with plenty of variety. We hope we can keep meeting here for many years, in good health. Everything felt peaceful, relaxing, and welcoming. This was my third stay with Ronny Thomas, and my first time there with my parents in the holiday apartment. It's completely renovated, spacious enough for up to 5 people, and works well for families with children. The location is perfect, and even my father could easily get around on foot with his walker. In the warmer months, the little courtyard reached through the breakfast room is a lovely cozy place to sit in the evening. The illuminated mountain church next door is truly romantic. Breakfast is an optional extra, with lots of sweet and savory choices, fresh fruit, and muesli, so even active, health-conscious guests should find something. The coffee machine makes really strong coffee and has a great selection. In the anteroom there's a sofa and a refrigerator with drinks and snacks. Purchases go on your room bill, which you can settle in cash or by card at the end of your stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the owner is always ready with tips on places to explore in the surrounding nature and history-rich area. There is guesthouse parking on the parallel street, though finding parking generally isn't a problem. This time I stayed in a very cozy single room with a kettle and tea beside the TV, Wi-Fi, and even a refrigerator in the room. There's a microwave in the hallway, too.
