I'm writing this because of how badly the reception staff treated people. We went down for breakfast at 9:45, even though it closes at 10. They looked at us badly and said we couldn't eat, while other guests were eating and the food was right there in front of us. The hotel itself is fine, but the staff's treatment of people of any nationality was disgusting and racist. Everyone was included, and they don't respect the people who pay.

You can get around Frankfurt on foot from here, and the staff are so kind and polite. The coffee was really good, too. The hotel is old, but that adds to the experience of staying right in the heart of the city. I’d happily recommend it.

I keep coming back to the Apollo Hotel for the Christmas Markets, and I've stayed here at least five years running. It's great value, with a good breakfast included and plenty of places to eat nearby. The rooms are small but practical, and it's a no-frills option if you don't want to spend much. It's very close to the train station. The area isn't the nicest I've seen, but I've always felt completely safe. Alex, who works six days a week at reception, is extremely helpful and knows a lot. Can't wait to come back!

The hosts were friendly and excellent. The rooms are dated but very clean, and the train station and nightlife are just around the corner. A great fit for a night or two.
