Sandelmühle Hotel

Our steaks came out cold and completely raw in the middle. Nobody asked how we wanted them cooked, and it seemed like very little care had gone into preparing the food. Before that, we’d been left to find a place to sit on our own, and when the waiter finally came over, he laughed at us for asking whether they had any white rum. The staff were rude and the food wasn’t good. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

We ordered steak, but nobody asked how we wanted it cooked. It arrived so raw in the middle that it was cold. When I asked what spirits they had, I was laughed at, and we were left to manage on our own. Bad food and bad service. I wouldn’t give that steak to a dog.

Everything was excellent for both the hotel and restaurant: top-quality food, a very clean place, and helpful, kind, culturally aware staff. It had a friendly, family atmosphere. Best place in Frankfurt. All the praise, and we’ll be back.

The chips were the only thing they got right. The beer was warm, the food undercooked, and the staff ignorant. The worst place. They messed up on a whole new level, and I won’t recommend it to anyone. I’d have been happier at McDonald’s.
