The renovation has made The Westin Grand Frankfurt a very attractive, modern property. I was there from 17-18 February 2026 on a business trip as a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member. The amenities were solid, and my room was clean and nicely presented. Still, I was very disappointed by two problems that shouldn't happen at this price level. I arrived around 18:00 during rush hour and found the reception desk completely empty. I waited 5-10 minutes before anyone showed up. When I asked about the wait, I was repeatedly told to “wait another two minutes” and even offered a drink. I needed an efficient check-in after travelling for work, not to stand at an unattended desk. My assigned room, 295, also had a very strong sewage smell from the bathroom as soon as I entered. The door had been left open and the odor was overwhelming. I had to open the windows, shut the bathroom door and run the water and shower to make the room usable. Housekeeping should catch issues like this when servicing rooms. Given the rate category, this is unacceptable. In future I'll choose another Marriott in Frankfurt, such as JW Marriott Hotel Frankfurt or Frankfurt Marriott Hotel, where I haven't had these problems. I hope management looks into this and follows up.

We stayed at The Westin Grand Frankfurt as a family of four with two children, and had a wonderful time. Ana at the Club Lounge made the stay especially memorable. She was incredibly kind and attentive, and always made us feel welcome. Her warm, professional service let us relax and enjoy ourselves. We're very grateful to her for her outstanding hospitality. We'd definitely choose The Westin Grand Frankfurt again, especially if Ana is there. Highly recommended for families.

The room looked modern and attractive, but that was about the only thing I liked. For a double booking, it had just one shower towel and one bathrobe. We called reception twice for another robe; they said it was coming, but over half an hour passed with nothing. We only got one by asking housekeeping as we were leaving. There was dust all over, even on the doors, and the video shows it clearly. The cleaning felt very superficial. Service was below average for a place calling itself five star, and breakfast was decent but should have offered more at that level. Our room faced a tram stop, so every outside noise came through and made sleeping difficult. This was nowhere near the luxury hotel experience we expected.

I spent one night here in December 2025 and was impressed by how clean the whole property was. The Christmas decorations were tasteful and subtle, and the M lounge/ executive lounge/ Westin lounge had a decent choice of evening canapes/ dinner. At check-in, the young man helping me was polite and kind, and made me feel appreciated as an eltie Marriott member. I was glad to get an upgrade to a lovely suite with a separate living room and beautiful bathroom. The staff were professional throughout.

Getting around was easy: trains for the airport or main station are only a couple of blocks away, and the Christmas markets and the rest of Frankfurt are close too. I stayed during the holidays, right in peak Christmas market season. The spa was great, and I had a really relaxing massage. There was plenty of seating in the elite lounge, and breakfast had an amazing spread. I'd happily come back here.
