SAKS Urban Design Hotel Frankfurt

It was an OK stay, but nothing made me want to return. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, with plenty of restaurants nearby and the Messe within walking distance. The rooms are on the small side, though there’s a desk if you need to work. The exterior needs some attention, since paint is peeling from the windows. Staff could be more attentive and were quite inflexible when I asked a few questions. Food is only served at breakfast, and there’s no way to order eggs freshly cooked. The buffet eggs were a little dry.

A little gem in Frankfurt’s Westend, with a very convenient location and a high standard of quality. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed drinks at the bar. At reception, manager Yeni Dünya was especially courteous, friendly, and professional.

We had a late flight, and the great Italian restaurant next door made pizzas for us to take away even though they were closing. We went back for dinner another night too, and it was delicious. The hotel itself was comfortable, in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and within walking distance of the river and shopping district. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. Carmelo & Yaney at the front desk and bar were especially accommodating. We enjoyed coming back to the lounge each evening for a nightcap. I’d stay here again and recommend it.
