I still hadn’t heard back after sending a booking request through the contact form at the beginning of June 2025, then emailing two weeks later. Nothing had gone into my spam folder, either. I wondered if the hotel was closed and felt the website should say so. Now the website says "temporarily closed," which is what I suspected. At least I’ve finally got the right answer.

The country hotel is wonderfully peaceful, and the owners are incredibly friendly and committed. We spent two nights there for some lovely bike rides and hikes around Bad Liebenwerda. The breakfast buffet amazed us. Plenty of four-star hotels can’t match that variety. We wish them lots of energy and success with the renovations and projects ahead. We’ll definitely be back!

We stopped for one night during a cycling tour as two adults. The room and bathroom were clean and freshly renovated, and the location by the forest was beautiful and very quiet. Construction work was still going on, though. The owner was friendly, professional, and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious and more than enough.

The young owners are still renovating the outside, but indoors everything is brand new and spotlessly clean. They even brought breakfast to my room. I’ve never had such friendly, thorough service in a hotel. Thanks for the wonderful care and the insider tips about Bad Liebenwerda.

The staff are courteous and friendly, and the place is functionally furnished despite the construction and renovation still underway. I did miss having a hairdryer in the room. At this price, that’s a must for me. Recommended for a short trip or stay.
