Breakfast was good, with lots of options, and the dining room was nice. Parking is free, and the service was professional, friendly enough, but not especially warm. The rooms are dated but fine, and very clean. The curtains don't cover the whole window, so it's bright in the morning even with the outside blinds. We found the pillows too soft and the mattress too hard, though that's personal preference; there was nothing actually wrong with them. I'd stay again if I were in the area, but those pillows made it hard to sleep.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the price seemed right for a hotel restaurant so close to the Nurburgring. The single room was clean, comfortable, and fully furnished, with linen, a TV, soap, shower gel, and even a toothbrush. They kindly provided a fresh bottle of sparkling water too. A very sweet, clean place for a nearby trip, and one I'd recommend.

The room was clean, but too small for what it cost. I was rushing at checkout and left an expensive perfume and phone charger behind. Once I got home, I called to ask whether housekeeping had found them while cleaning. The owner bluntly said it was the contract cleaning company's responsibility and had nothing to do with him. I tried to explain that, as the hotel owner, he was responsible for lost and found, but he acted like he couldn't hear or see me. I've never had a guest service response like that. Future guests should check their belongings before leaving, because once something's forgotten, there's no way to get it back.

Dinner was very good, and the staff were friendly. They also let me keep my bike in the garage. A nice hotel.
