Arthotel ANA Munich Airport

The lack of air conditioning is why I gave it four stars. The windows open, though, and the temperature wasn't too bad. My room was clean and quite large, and the breakfast area looked comfortable, although I didn't eat there. The man at check-in was lovely and calm despite being swamped with guests who had missed their flights. He even arranged a taxi for me the next day. Aside from no AC, I had a great stay. I was there on June 30.

We had a cancelled flight and suddenly needed somewhere to stay. It turned into a great night, and there's an amazing Italian restaurant next door. The hotel is very modern, our room was massive and all brand new, and the beds and shower were nice. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was spacious, and we really liked the shower. There's no desk for working, so it feels better suited to a night before a flight. A cab to Terminal 2 cost 30€. It's somewhat out of the way, so getting around without a car isn't easy. There are a few mediocre restaurants nearby and a supermarket. We were also surprised by how many things weren't being done “due to Corona.” Most other hotels, and my workplace too, seemed to manage just fine.

We stayed for a few nights in August 2022. The owner often works from 7 AM to midnight because, as I understand it, finding staff is impossible. As a small business owner myself, I can appreciate that. The hotel was clean, and the room was large by European standards. The window opens wide, but there is no air conditioning. Staff member Promise helped us find a lovely, incredibly cheap pizza place a bus ride away. Ask the staff for recommendations. Public transport is convenient, costing only €9 for June, July, and August. With a bus and train schedule, or Google Maps, you can get to the airport in about 20 minutes or Munich in around 40.
