The hotel is a quiet place with a rustic feel, and I found the service kind and professional. During the winter of 20/21, because of pandemic issues, they served a delicious breakfast in my room. I did miss fried eggs, though. There are many free parking spaces not far away, and the interior and rooms are wheelchair accessible. It worked well for a business trip or a leisure stay, even both at once. If you're after something atypical, I'd recommend it. If you want a big-city-style fancy hotel, this isn't the place. Do consider the location when planning visits to tourist attractions.

8/10
The quiet location and beautiful house, plus the friendly staff and nice atmosphere, earned it a fourth star from me. The room comfort is closer to three: the bathrooms are very basic, the beds aren't really what I'd want to sleep on every night, and the curtains are far too light. WiFi is easy to use and fast enough, the food is excellent, and there's a great free coffee maker in the lobby. There are pleasant extras like a free table kicker and chessboard. Best of all, the hotel cat waits on the stairs to be petted.

A gorgeous hotel in a lovely setting, with great food and good service. It's in a fantastic location and has that slightly shabby-chic feel of an old town spa hotel, which makes it all the better. Much nicer than the generic chain places.

You can walk to everything, though the beds are a bit low.
