Haus am Meer

Breakfast in the conservatory was a lovely start to the day, and everything was clean. We stayed in the maisonette, which is well worth recommending: you can see over the dunes to the Baltic Sea coast right from bed. It's a small, peaceful hotel, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We'll be back for sure.

We enjoyed our three days in Ahrenshoop and would gladly return. The hotel is small and conveniently placed in town, with the beach close by and plenty of parking. Arrival and departure were easy, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome straight away. The breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive, with plenty to choose from. Hygiene measures were handled very well, and even with lots of guests on Saturday, we didn't feel crowded. We liked the tasteful breakfast room and adjoining conservatory. Our room had rustic furnishings but was clean, as was the bathroom, which had all we needed. Being able to make coffee and tea in the room was a nice extra.

The two roof terraces offer a special, great view. The place isn't new, but it's very clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful if you're not vegetarian. For vegetarians, the choices were limited, though manageable. Otherwise, it's standard.

We had a relaxing holiday at this lovely hotel, just a short walk from the beach. Breakfast was very well organized during the pandemic, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend it.
