The rooms were clean, though the corridors could use more light, and the Wi-Fi was patchy in the rooms. The building looks quite old from its architecture, but it seems to have been renovated recently. Its enclosed patio is spacious and now serves as the breakfast dining room. There was a decent selection of bread, cold cuts, and yogurt, with freshly brewed, good coffee. The central staircase is striking and feels like it comes from a time when nobody worried about space.

Guests found the rooms spacious, clean, and updated, though some felt the bathrooms were small.

The hotel was hit by the major flooding in July 2021 and still hasn't reopened.

The beds were good, the coffee was good, and parking was free. The room was clean and met current three-star standards, but there was no Wi-Fi reception in it. Staff tested it themselves and confirmed the problem, then referred us to the manager. Breakfast was average, with staff serving the buffet in masks and gloves. One employee wouldn't wear gloves, saying none of them fit him, and when this was brought up, the replies were rather curt. There's a church across the street that gets you up promptly at eight.

It's a small, pleasant hotel with friendly staff and good value. The rooms are fine, and breakfast has enough choice. It seems to have been an upscale place in the past, but it's now a nicely renovated mid-range hotel. The pool and bar still mentioned online aren't operating anymore.
