We only stayed three nights during our motorcycle holiday, but this place ended up being the highlight. The balcony view was amazing, and we spent most evenings out there taking it in. We also had a drink and cake at the cafe on our first day, both excellent. The owner let me park my motorcycle in the driveway, and check-in was simple. We were shown the rooms and facilities, all clean and in good condition. I only wish we'd stayed longer. I'll be back.

The Schwarzwalder Kirsch torte was the best I've ever had. The lovely green setting makes this place worth a detour.

The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, with the mountain river in the background. The place feels a bit old-fashioned, but the taste and cleanliness reminded me of my grandma's house. The coffee was strong and tasty, just like in Italy. I stopped in for a cappuccino one morning when the Guest House was only open to its guests, but the owner kindly served us, including a very good cherry tart. Wild cherries here are really tasty. I'd recommend booking a room too. They seem to be busy all the time and can't keep up with requests, even without advertising. People hear about it through word of mouth, past experiences, or personal recommendations. I'd recommend it.

We'd walked uphill to explore the forest and got to the Cafe an hour and a half before opening. The owner kindly opened up to serve us coffee and delicious cake, so we could carry on with our walk.

The owner was very friendly and gave us great tips for motorcycle routes nearby. We enjoyed a nice piece of Black Forest cake on the terrace, sitting in the shade and looking out over the valley.
